Steven Trotter

Meredith Primary School Principal

Steven started his teaching career in Geelong after growing up in regional Victoria, and has since taken on various roles in both mainstream and alternative government education sectors across Victoria. Prior to beginning his Principal-ship at Meredith Primary School, Steven helped establish a new school in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne as a Sub-School Principal. Steven now lives back in Geelong with his wife and children and loves being back supporting education in regional Victoria. Steven has an unrelenting student centred approach focusing on the improvement of student learning outcomes across all curriculum areas.

Meredith Primary School staff is made up of 3 full time classroom teachers, 2 part time specialist teachers – Physical Education – Ms Kate Bramley and Art – Mrs Kerrie Brown, 4 Education Support including Business Manager, Classroom Support and Before and After School Care Coordinator, a part time Chaplain and part time school maintenance position.
