With times changing it is important that children learn to use computers and the correct way of using them. Integration into all subjects is a key way to learn how to use computers and the best way to apply them to the world. By using the computers for research, typing up work, presenting information and even just for fun students develop the skills they need to live in the fast developing words. Common programs that we use in the school are Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Publisher and Kahootz!.
In the upper section of the school the students have a specialist hour of Information Technology and another specialist hour of Materials Technology where we focus on the design process that consists of researching, designing, constructing and evaluating. This year we have built model cities and our dream bedrooms.
For this first time this year students also entered into some Multimedia competitions including the statewide Kahootz! competition and the Sprockets and Flares Multimedia competition. The entries for Sprockets and Flares can be seen by clicking on the links below .
