BOOK WEEK
Each year our school takes part in Book Week, where we celebrate the books that have been nominated for the book of the year by the Children's Book Council of Australia. We select one day during the week to have our book day where the children get to dress up and do a range of activities relating to the nominated books.
The theme was "Reading Rocks!" and to get in the spirit all of the staff and students came along sporting their Rock Star hair. Each student got to do 4 different activities throughout the day that included photography for Dougal the Garbage Dump Bear, some cartoon dogs for Mutt the Dog and even some party games for the book 10 more sleeps. To help enjoy the rocking day students had a disco at lunchtime where they were graced woth our own resident DJ, DJ Fro who cranked out the tunes as the children boogied on down.
